The Team

In the Territory Sales Manager role, you'll work closely with the Mt. Pleasant Branch Operations team, as well as Marketing and Finance. You will report to the Director of Sales.

What You'll Do

As the Territory Sales Manager, you'll develop and execute a consistent and successful territory sales plan that supports revenue growth and profit goals. You'll work with our Marketing team to execute on sales campaigns and drive sales objectives. You'll implement critical relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors by performing the following functions.

  • Achieve sales growth by developing strong working relationships with customers, built on on integrity and follow through
  • Establish and implement dealer agreements that define MLS' programs and expectations
  • Follow up on all leads, outstanding quotes, and referrals resulting from marketing activities
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including daily customer interaction, follow-up and sales results
  • Identify product and service sales prospects and maintain ownership of accounts
  • Ensure that all sales materials are developed and maintained with current product information
  • Communicate new product opportunities, special developments, and feedback gathered through field activity
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with Operations
  • 25-40% travel to current and potential clients

We'd Like to See

  • 5+ years experience in B2B sales; Agri-business, hydraulics and irrigation industry experience preferred, but not required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft programs)
  • Knowledge of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) technologies
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred
  • Clean driving record
