What are Centrifugal Pumps?

Centrifugal pumps, as their name implies, use centrifugal force to accelerate fluid that enters the impeller from the intake pipe, spinning it rapidly through the pump casing, and out the discharge outlet. The rotational energy of the impeller is powered by a motor or engine.
